G7 Frog Porrigde!

Its been a awhile since T & I had frog porridge. For those who have not tried, I highly recommend you to try that. Frogs that are cooked are Bull Frogs, and they are mainly bred to kill, sounds evil, I know.

I used to dislike it, but was forced to eat it because I went through a leg operation when I was about 3-4 years old. And elders believe that Frog porridge strengthens up our legs. So i think its good for athlete. OK. Lame assumption.

T fully concentrating, and ignoring me, despite me taking pictures of him with FLASH!

Its been quite long since I last camwhore. Or maybe not?

Ta-dah! This is the frog porridge I was referring to. We're back to our usual to have our all time fave porridge. The one that we often go and would recommend would be G7! It is located at Geyland Lorong 3. Just a brief information, frog porridge is widely available in the Geylang district. And they're all yummy too, but I particularly like G7's.

The price at G7 is reasonable as well. Two dining, it costs approximately $35-$50, depending on the items you order. Additionally, the plain porridge is served for free with any order. The frog is cooked in different styles, up for you to choose. But my fave would be the Spicy, gong bao type.

T & I had a awesome meal! Tummy filled to the max! Didn't photoshop this pic, and you can see T have a huge breakout due to work work work.

I recently won some stuff from a lucky draw in Gmarket. This lucky draw, is actually the lucky auction, where you just pay $1.00 and you'll get the item. Count myself lucky that day. I actually won a diary from Korea, in apple green.

My Box finally came!! The box seems quite bog though.

The box is so big, but the item is not that big. Best of all, though it is just a diary/organizer, they still bubble wrap it.

It is nicely packed, with bubble wrap and a box :)

The quality of the synthetic leather is good. Its so soft and light. Looks great and really was better than what i expected.

Inside of the diary. There is the notes, calendar, and even monthly view, and weekly view. Space and design is awesome.

Recently hopped on to a trip to Ho Chi Minh City with family. Ho Chi Minh is not very famous as a tourist destination though. But they do have ultimately delicious food! And best of all, its a place for all coffee lovers out there!

Roasted Pigeons! They're delicious but of course, when comparing them to the ones in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong's Lung Wah is still better. The pigeon is too dry and the taste is somewhat similar to duck. Its quite not that tough, but the pigeon is quite small.

Chili is awesome! It may look like a normal harmless green chili, but it isn't much like its appearance. This will blow your mind away! **HOTTT**

Wanton noodles? Yup. We went to district 5, which was Chinatown, thus, they had chinese food. And guess what, yup the people don't speak english, but those at Chinatown speaks Cantonese :)

This is one drink you'll see EVERYWHERE! They love serving tea in ice. And its refreshing!

OK, coffee lovers! This is what to look for when you're in Vietnam. The authentic coffee! They use this small filter to serve your coffee. So you'll have to wait for your coffee to be brewed manually, and once the water have dripped completely, you're ready to drink.

I am not a coffee fan, but from what boy told me, he said its very thick and very unusual. Dad liked it, and said that it was sweet O.o Hmmm. I can't give much comments but you should try it yourself :)

This is another food, it is from their road side stall, and its quite cute. You don't sit on normal size tables and chair, but you sit on the stool which is super small and low and its by the side of the road. This dish is an omelete, fried with some kuey sauce, and the other one was egg with some weird ingredient which i don't know, because they can't speak english. But it was nice and it merely cost like $2-3 bucks only? CHEAP!

Besides eating, there is not much sight seeing in Ho Chi Minh, but there are still some at district 1.

This is taken right outside the palace. We took quite a while to find the entrance of the palace though. Because the cab driver brought us to another place instead.

And this was the place he alighted us. It was the same address, with the same attraction name, but it is the back entrance -.- looks different right? The first thing that came to our mind was, "this is a palace?!" Hahaha!

Before going back, one of Dad's friend decided to bring us to a park which is out of the city area, the whole cab care literally cost about 40 bucks i think! NOT CHEAP! And its damn far, approximately 1 hr and 30 mins ride.

But after reaching the place, it was totally worth it, it looked like those places it China where people film those "olden days" shows.

Gate of the temple. Inside, there was temple, amusement park, and normal park! Its huge!

This is the walkway towards the huge temple inside, its all decorated nicely with sunflowers, and they were maintaining it well.

This is the stairs to the temple. Literally look like stairs to the palace in Beijing. But this is the miniature version. Boy loved it so much, so he took a picture with Dad's Friend.

Ok, that's roughly the end of our 4-5 days trip. Quite fun actually, and Ho Chi Minh is like Singapore in the 60s.

Air fare and accommodation costs approximately SGD$1000 for 4, which was quite cheap. But do not expect much there, as shopping was little :)

My parents calls me Miss Piggy ever since I was young because I am in love with her litterally! And this made my parents though I resembled her. Which was not true of course. She sparked my interest for liking Pigs! OK its weird but, I seriously like, NO, LOVE her!

I don't much fancy any hollywood superstar in particular and are not very familiar with them, but whenever anyone pops out the topic about muppets, or miss piggy I will sure get involved! Yupp! Major Fan of Muppets & ESP MISS PIGGY!

Look at how much her hair have changed, and her elegance is always there! There's one thing I will always want to be like her " Never looking old" ! Yeap! She beautiful alright!

Its about time since I last blogged about food! I had an awesome time with parents and boy at Buckaroo BBQ & Grill which is located at 12B Andrews Avenue. Dad found this place through a TV channel called afc. So we had our oh so great food there.
Please pardon my posting as I am blogging through my bb. We ordered massive loads of chicken wings, inclusive of buffalo wings lvl 2 which was awesome. And a chicken & beef combo set to share with soups, mushroom and clam chowder!
Soups are served in the huge loaf and the serving for each portion was HUGE! Totally worth the price! Enjoy the picturess!
Won't be blogging much these days, especially this week, because, I am finishing up on my finals! Gotta get it done asap!

I can't really fall asleep now, and decided to blog instead. I have a major crisis that I have been facing recently that is kind of crucial to my company. And the management meeting is gonna be held tomorrow. This will determine my fade and my future is in their hands. I really cannot let this happen and there is nothing I can do. Another 5 hours of bleaching. My hair now is like frizzy and in a fragile condition, but I lover the colour!
Initially I wanted a whitish blond, because my hair is too black, thus I decided to dye ash. Colour will still fade :)

Its an early post, family and I decided to do a early marketing. And our definition of early = 3am! Yuppp!
We had our supper / late dinner at a nearby prata store: Mr Prata Family Restaurant, at tampines st.44
They're well known for their oh so good pratas and mee goreng! and than after we did our grocery shopping at the nearby wet market! Its unique and we shopped at 24 hrs fairprice too. Just refer to the pictures. Its simplified! Ok! So I gtg sleep, good night for nowww!

I decided to have a change in hairstyle recently, thus decided to dye my hair with blond strands. Inspired by the girl group SNSD's Tiffany.

My hair was dyed black for quite some time, thus the colour that I initially wanted to dye, which was black red, was unable to take up the colour. Unless i really want the colour, the only way would be to bleach my whole head, and dye it again. I have to decide.

Can't really decide on which hairstyle I want, so i chose to dye several portions of my hair. Its actually not dying, but bleaching instead. But before I do that, my hair have to be cut and layered.

My slightly after shoulder length hair, is than cut again. Now I feel that my hair is very short.

I was told that I would have to at least go through bleaching twice. But after bleaching twice, the colour was still yellowish, which makes me look "ah-lian." In the end, I had to bleach three times, but after bleaching, the colour was not out yet!!!

I have to go back and bleach few more times on thursday before dying the desired colour down!

A random post. Basically, assignments have been crashing in lately. And due to my all so poor time management, I once again fail to balance both my work and studies together.
The work in the company is consistently piling up like nobody's business, in a sense for the company, it's good, but no for me. My assignments are due like next next week and I have one major project to hand it by the 25th.
Ok I know that you guys will say that I should seriously panic. Ok right. I am panicking. And on top of that, I am lost.
Anyway, I just came back from hk recently and attended XR's bday party. Both are as awesome.

I don't understand why some people tend to take things for granted and don't realize what is happening because of them. People tend to put themselves as the priorities but not all does. Pertaining to this fact, people who we care for are often on one of our top priority list, however when this happens people too tend to expect for something in return. This makes relationships sour, bitter or sweet. Its difficult to learn the art of ignorance, that will help not only to maintain the relationship and also prevent unnecessary problems.

Its been long since i last blogged.
I am undergoing horrible situations now.
All is mainly caused by my freaking surveyor job. day one, they told me this, day two, they told me that, day three they told me another thing.
they are always full of surprises, it is so difficult for me to concentrate on my work.
hitting quotas by quotas. its becoming more and more difficult. they said we'll get paid for this and that, but not counted in as my quota.
if it wasn't because of some problems i have, i wouldn't have taken up this freaking job. it draining my energy.
and most of all now, my parents are furious with my work load and wants me to quit this job and they claim that they will cover up all my problems.
this isn't how i wanted it to be.
urghhh!!! please let it be something nice.

WAWA, you'll always be remembered

on this faithful day, my dear wawa who have accompanied me through this 10 have passed on to another world. it really difficult for me to overcome this situation. this was the largest surprise i received this morning.

he is the sweetest i have ever received.

i still remember the time where he creeped up to my mom's side table and stole one siew mai to eat. everyone was wondering where the siew mai went, but when we saw him under the table, we knew something fishy was going on.

wawa has a habit of hiding under the table after he done something wrong. there was also once when he poo-ed and pee-ed both on my bed and my mom's bed. he wanted us to know that he was angry with us not bringing him out.

when i was young, i often get scoldings and canning from my parents, wawa would always come for my rescue, bitting the cane and growling at my parents.

he is my guardian angel, someone whom i will never forget for life.

i really miss him, if i can turn back time, i would

have tried to raised the money for his operation instead of listening to what my parents say.

wawa, i really miss you a lot, my life is so empty without you, i don't know how to cope with your loss, but i will do my best. please take care when you're up there, find your angel and dont get lost ok. be good and i love to you.

BB bought a pair of jeans and a new top just for my dad's bday. On that day, we totally overspent! Items bought was way beyond budget planned. However, the shopping experience was splendid :) Secretly, i love to see BB shop and splurge money on himself, it shows that he pampers himself once in a while materialistically with his hard earned money,

Candice and I was so bored that we even camwhore in the MEN's fitting room while waiting for BB to come out. :)

We had a MIDNIGHT STEAMBOAT PARTY with dad and mom. BB gave a huge treat :) THANKIES BB, URE DA SWEETEST!!

Michelle babe's JYJ TIX!!!!! OMG.. i so so wanna go, but i can't :'(
Dad's Bday party, BB presented a Big'O' cheesecake from NYDC, and I handed a chocolate cake from element. My dad is a cheesecake lover, however still prefer the new york cheesecake from Starbucks.

Recently, my parents have been commenting on how good sakae sushi's teppanyaki is.So, we eventually headed down to Sakae Sushi's Teppanyaki outlet.
The pricing was reasonable, they offer set lunches and set meals which is below SGD $20.
I ordered the venison set, dad had beef set, which comes with foie gras, and mom got a chicken set..

Our set was all served with garlic fried rice.

All in all it was nice, venison taste a bit weird though, however, it was nice for its pricing.

Yeappies... Chalet is finally over, thankfully there wasn't any rain during our BBQ sessions. i declare bf dead tired. waking up in the morning, heading to work, then coming back to chalet to prepare items for chalet and entertain guests.

and yet, he still wants to organize another chalet session coming NOV.. so.... *speechless*

Dad finally talked to me again after the 1 week cold war, the reason why he talked was partially due to bf's presence, into bf to dad and bf was caring enough to buy kopi-o for him, and he was the first to personally hand the mooncakes that he bought to my parents :)

TLC = Tender Loving Care

Life have been full of TLC recently, however it is on and off.
BB is usually busy, but i am thankful that he is always willing to find time for me, spend time with me, or even sacrifice his working time with me.
These are things that none have ever done for me, I am thankful, and my graditute towards him can never be expressed with words.

Seriously, thinking about it, i am really greatful, however, it is some decision that i made that may changed my life for good.

Today, i finally realised how tiring BB is during work, i feel really bad thinking back when i keep asking him to pay more attention to me, and making sure that he spends sufficient time with me, however, through this i didnt realise that BB is actually very very exhausted. My heart ache for him, having to work from day to night, without having sufficient rest and not having enough sufficient time to eat.. :(( Money ruin the world. :'((

back to my cove again.
I think this is the only place where i can vent out whatever i feel unhappy about.
I understand that things isn't always seem the way it is.
Learning to give is one big step i've taken, not plainly giving, but giving without asking any in return. Its a huge difficult task for me seriously.
After so long, i managed to take that step out from my cover and try again, but what i see now is something that will make me create another cover around myself.
I can never imagine that it would happen to me again, never will i thought things would happen twice. My friend said if it happened twice, its ok, but twice, means stupid. People who knows, said that its a scam.
But i kept thinking that whatever is said maybe true, that someone may really need it. 5-10 mins is all i get from you.
Falling in is not easy, but walking out is even worst. I fell for it. And am serious about it, but i don't know what he's thinking. Been carrying on for long, i can no longer take it, nothing seems to walk my way, but all seems to walk from me to him. WHY?
Don't blame me for clinging on to the past, Its not that i want to, but it seems to repeat itself again and again. Person totally changed, but the road will still be the same. Should i carry on being in the middle, going on, being stateless or should i just let go and fall hard, forgetting it all.
Maybe rushing isn't the way, but asking for more, seems to be a question i have to face. Mind and body said No, but my heart said Yes.
I'm terribly confused.
I'm just a fool who knew that she was actually cheated, but allowed it to carry on.

However, after her singing, we went to queue for her autograph and i didn't queue that long, so relieved!!!

Exams are finally over.
But totally ditched the last paper. Studied set A and set B came out.
Many prepared for sup-paper. My 1st sup-paper attempt luh~

I finally kicked off the 60 pointer for bowling again and now i'm proud to announce that i got 90!!! We went bowling after paper yesterday, and hui2 as first timer got 50 something luh~~
And pat as first timer too got a STRIKE luh~~HAHAHA~~

Actually quite a lot of things happened and was kind of unhappy. Managed to pull it through anyway. But i learnt that being self-less is really the key to everything.

Its been raining these few days, so cooling...

But seriously how i wish to experience the change of 4 seasons every year.

All year round in Thailand, is SUMMER.

But the night market there is superb, with lots of delicious food, and other facinating stuff.

More over, its worth shopping for clothes there.

The weather there and in singapore is the same.

When i was in Thailand, had a trip to Pattaya beach too.

Seriously, its meant for sun tanning as well as a relaxing trip.

But the water is actually taken from the sea, as the beautiful pattaya beach is actually in some island, so there isn't any clean water, its all sea water.
